About Kirkby Stephen and the Eden Valley
Kirkby Stephen and its surrounding area is where members of the Rotary Club of Upper Eden are drawn from. It is a small bustling market town situated in the Eden Valley in Cumbria. It is a great place to live, work and visit but don't tell anyone as it might become too crowded. The Eden Valley really is one of Cumbria's best kept secrets. While enjoying beautiful scenery like the nearby Lake District it is much quieter with fewer visitors. This creates a region of tranquility nestled amid rolling Cumrian fells. It is worth a visit.
